The closer threw only one pitch - inducing a game ending double play. It was Rollie Gibson's first save.

The Everett Aquasox were voted as the best overall baseball experience of the Northwest.
Brother Nature and Throcksmorton got a foul ball by Prettyman, who signed the ball after the game.

Eastley Slams The Door On Tri-City
EVERETT, WASH. – A fourth inning grand slam homerun by Everett Aquasox designated hitter Reed Eastley gave the Frogs the lead, which they would not relinquish, as Everett defeated the Tri-City Dust Devils 6-5. Eastley was 1-for-2 on the night with four RBI.
Everett (20-19) third baseman Ronnie Prettyman was 2-for-3 on the night, while shortstop Robbie Hudson was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Aquasox catcher Danny Santin went 2-for-4. Tri-City (18-21) designated hitter Brian Kirby was 1-for-4 with a homerun and two RBI.
Sunday is the final game of the five game series and features a Webbly baseball giveaway presented by Sound Transit and NorthSound 1380 ESPN Radio, for the first 1,000 kids. The gates will open at 3pm, with the first pitch thrown at 4:05 p.m. After an off day on Monday, the Aquasox head to Yakima for five games with the Bears. They will return home on Sunday, August 7th for three games with the Eugene Emeralds.
