Description: Skinny.
World famous runner/author who collapsed and died of a heart attack while running at age 52 in 1984. His autopsy revealed that one of his coronary arteries was 99% clogged, another was 80% obstructed, and a third was 70% blocked - and that Fixx had had three other attacks in the weeks prior to his death. Fixx was a smoker up until a few years before his death and authored the 1977 bestseller The Complete Book of Running, which is credited with helping start America's fitness revolution. Fixx was also known to ignore his diet and use running as a method to cancel out his eating excesses.

Heads up, you got my dad's stats way wrong...including the facts that he had not smoked in 20 years prior to his death, I don't think that he ever weighed less than 185 and he didn't die WHILE running, it was AFTER his daily run and during his cool down that the blood pooled in his legs and couldn't get through his clogged heart. Without the exercise his life would have been 10 years shorter. Without his misguided diet he would still be here.
