Herve Villechaize was best known for his role as Tattoo on TV’s “Fantasy Island”, where a mysterious man and his dwarf assistant own an island and charge wealthy people $50,000 each to live out their fantasies. Herve earned $25,000 per episode for his work on “Fantasy Island.” He went on to be a performer in 1983’s “Circus of the Stars #8”. His film work includes roles as Little Breather on “Airplane II: The Sequel” (1982) and Samson in “Crazy Joe” (1974). Tattoo committed suicide with a gun on September 4, 1993 in North Hollywood, California.
