December 18, 2005: Anthony Michael Hall
By The Diesel

Sacramento, CA

In recent years Anthony Michael Hall has gone from a standard C-List actor to a wide-eyed C-list actor. It all started when he landed the lead role of Johnny Smith in The Dead Zone television series reprising Christopher Walken’s role from the 1983 movie. Perhaps his wide-eyed look is his way of projecting to the audience that he has psychic powers or to simply distract us from his FlowBe haircut. The BMTG has plans to Tivo the show for an upcoming Festival so as to enjoy Johnny Smith performing mundane task such as drinking coffee, putting on his socks, and starting his car with his frozen wide-eyed gaze.

Excerpt from the BMTG Anthony Michael Hall Forum:

The Diesel:
His commercials are just as bad.

White Russian:
He doesn't even look anything like the same person who was in the Breakfast Club and Vacation. He also played the role of Mutt Lange in 2001's TV movie "Hysteria: The Def Leppard Story"...

The Diesel:
I didn't know Def Leppard had a story other than the guy who chewed off his arm. Scene from Hysteria:

"Man, cutting a track with you dudes is nothing but Hysteria"

"What's that, Mutt?"

"Man, cutting -"

"No, the other thing"

"uhhhhhhh.. a track with-"

"No, Mutt, the OTHER thing"

"Hmmmmm....uhhhhhhh....you dudes is nothing but"

"HYSTERIA" Mutt and others say at same time laughing and high fiving.

"I'm going to name my fish Hysteria.....or better yet our album!"

"Hysteria Fish" Mutt and others say at same time laughing and high fiving.
