The 2006 Winter Olympics is the second BMTG Olympic Medal Count competition. Sandman won the first in 2004 with the Italian Olympic team playing for him in the Summer games. Once again, the Ukraine Brothers representation will be split between Ukraine and Ireland. This time around, White Russian will be represented by Ireland, while Brother Nature is represented by Ukraine. As before, The Diesel is represented by Sweden, Sandman by Italy, Little Jerry by Brazil, and Albuquerque Tom by France. Tin Man and Steamboy are new to the competition.

Albuquerque Tom (France) will continue to be affected by the BMTG regulation regarding countries undermining the U.S. war efforts. Prior to the 2004 games, such countries were sanctioned with a deduction of two Olympic medals per month from the start of the war until the end of the next cycle of Olympic games. France's undermining of the war on terror resulted in a deduction of 34 medals for the 2004 Summer Olympics. Since France had 33 medals, the final count was -1. Because France finished with negative medals, they will lose another medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics, plus interest of 1 medal per month. Beginning with September 2004 through January 2006, the interest on France's negative medal is 17 medals, therefore, a total of 18 medals will be deducted from France's final total in the 2006 Winter games.
